But it's a far different story for the 36-year-old actress in her real life.
Luddington took to Instagram to announce she and hubby Matthew Alan are expecting their second child together with the help of a very famous princess named Cinderella this Monday.

'Me: 'I'm just gonna do a super casual pregnancy announcement. Also me: I NEED PRINCESSES!!!!!!,' she captioned a photo of herself alongside a woman dressed as Cinderella, who can be seen pointing to her baby bump.
'Okay so... Matt and I are so happy to fiiiiinally post after months of "hiding" that i am pregnant! We are beyond excited to add to our little family and give Hayden a sibling.'

The British-born star added that she has been dealing with bouts of morning sickness.
'And yes, I've been away a lot from social media the past few months because OMGGGG the exhaustion and OMGGGGGG the morning (read: alllllll day) sickness.'

She also answered the question of whether she's been filming new episodes of Grey's Anatomy since finding out she's expecting another bundle of joy.
'Yep! Oh the glamour of growing new humans. But in all seriousness, we feel so lucky and I can't wait to bring you guys along for the remaining months of this baby #2,' she humbly and proudly explained.
Luddington, who's daughter Hayden is just over two-years-old, ended the post by thanking 'the one and only Cinderella' for helping with the photo.

Grey's fans will have to wait and see whether writers and producers will add her pregnancy into the storyline or if they opt to work around her growing baby bump.
It has been a rocky road of late for her on-screen persona since the sudden departure of Justin Chambers' Dr. Alex Karev in last week's episode of Grey's Anatomyafter 16 years on the hit show.
Chambers did not appear in Thursday's episode but he did make a voice cameo to wrap up his character. Fans learned that Alex sent Jo divorce papers in the mail and that he went to re-connect with ex-wife, Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) after learning that she secretly had his twins.
Grey's Anatomy airs Thursday's on ABC at 9 p.m. ET, or watch on Stan in Australia.
